3D Character Animator

Animate and model 3D character models in a manner that meets the aesthetic and stylistic requirements of greGAMES!

Responsibilities

  • Animate characters and objects in a variety of styles, based on the requirements of the story.
  • Rig characters and objects for cutscenes, as well as standard gameplay.
  • Revise existing character models, and create new ones as needed.
  • Deliver superior work that meets the Production Department's deadlines and milestones.
  • Work with the Animation Director to ensure the animation meets the product's aesthetic goals.
  • Identify and overcome issues affecting the animation pipeline.

Required

  • Command of animation, rigging, and modeling in Maya.
  • Passion for visual story-telling.
  • Must be a self-starter with excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
  • Must be responsive to direction and perform well within a collaborative environment.
  • A copy of Maya, version 6 or later.

Preferred

  • Command of animation, rigging, and modeling in 3DS Max.
  • BFA (or certification) from an animation program.
