3D Character Animator
Animate and model 3D character models in a manner that meets the aesthetic and stylistic requirements of greGAMES!
Responsibilities
- Animate characters and objects in a variety of styles, based on the requirements of the story.
- Rig characters and objects for cutscenes, as well as standard gameplay.
- Revise existing character models, and create new ones as needed.
- Deliver superior work that meets the Production Department's deadlines and milestones.
- Work with the Animation Director to ensure the animation meets the product's aesthetic goals.
- Identify and overcome issues affecting the animation pipeline.
Required
- Command of animation, rigging, and modeling in Maya.
- Passion for visual story-telling.
- Must be a self-starter with excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Must be responsive to direction and perform well within a collaborative environment.
- A copy of Maya, version 6 or later.
Preferred
- Command of animation, rigging, and modeling in 3DS Max.
- BFA (or certification) from an animation program.
